Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Changing Profile picture
I'm attempting to change my profile picture, but it's not working. I've gone to "settings" and under the profile picture area chosen "browse" to get a picture from my pc. I choose a pic, and then it says "uploading" and then nothing... Is there an issue with the site for this or am I doing this incorrectly?

I think 1) your photo needs to be in jpeg format 2) if the size is too big, it'll take a long long time to upload. You might want to reduce the size of your photo to 48 x48, about 1.39 KB which is the size I have used for my profile image. My guess is that your image is over 1 MB in size. 1024 KB = 1 MB.
Of course, if you click on my profile image, the image will be very, very fuzzy - precisely what I want because I don't really want especially if I am uploading a photo of my sailor.
Here are the samples I have used which uploaded quickly.
