The very first letter we received from my recruit, he listed down his dad; myself; sister and brother...Unfortunately, the three couldn't make it to his PIR graduation on 4/17/2015 except me and my boyfriend (his dad and I had divorced long time ago)  I had wrote him a letter and provided him with my name and my bf name specifically, and it's been almost three weeks and I didn't receive any letter from my recruit to let me know that he did receive my letter and confirmed for the name changed...so I am so worry what would happen  when we arrive and we won't be able to check in for the ceremony...Did anyone run into this situation? Please let me know? and what should I have to do?

Thank you so much,

When your Sailor calls next, even if it is the "I'm a Sailor!" call, ask him to confirm who he put down on the Access List. He will be submitting the names this week or next week (3 to 10 days before PIR) and can change the names up to 24 hours before PIR, but it is best if the names that are submitted the first time are the correct names. Write again with the names of the people who will be attending as they should be listed on the Access List.

oh...I do get a final call from my sailor then?  omg...I can't wait!!! :)

I thank you so much for your advise lemonelephant :)

I just wrote him another letter per your suggestion, and hopefully I will hear back from him... :)

Yes, you should get a call after your recruit goes through BST and has become a Sailor. See Battle Stations-21 (BST) and Phone Cards and Phone Calls.

You are very welcome.
