DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Women, E-6 and below, will be able to buy the service dress blues at the Navy Exchange in early 2016, said Capt. Janet Bristol, head of the Uniform Matters Office. The uniforms are likely to be issued to recruits beginning Oct. 1, 2016, the start of fiscal year 2017. Funding for the crackerjack whites is earmarked for fiscal 2017.

YN(F) Bernice Smith likes the new uniform!

REALLY?????????

Are you kidding? Let me direct you to the board here which is nothing but half naked men in every post.

Hello Concernedad,

I've removed the photo you posted. Per our Community Photo Guidelines: Nothing inappropriate, including nudity, violence, gang symbols, profanity, obscenity, or anything of a sexual nature is permitted on Navy For Moms. If you'd like to give me a link for the board where other inappropriate pictures are, I'll delete those as well.

Thank you,

Tiffany

No, I don't care if some of the Moms want to post pics of guys. I do wish to clarify my pic did not fit into any of your above criteria for inappropriateness. I'd hate to be labeled for a pic no longer there. I don't want people to think I'm posting porn. It was a girl in a short skirt. That is all.

Short skirts banned? Most illogical.

I agree with Concernedad in that his picture did not meet the above criteria for inappropriateness.  Personally, it gave me a chuckle in the context of this posting.
