I am bursting at the seems with pride for Joseph; yet my heart breaks for me. I never knew my heart could feel so many emotions all at one time.  I can't wait to see the man he becomes!!!

best of luck to your son.. im still missing  my gilr!!!

Mine heads to hotel tomorrow and swears in Thursday, Best of luck to your son... My heart feels for you....
My daughter arrived on the evening of 6/23. Got my 2 min call. I'm so nervous. I hope she is doing well. Congrats to you.

Hello! My Son left for BC as well that day! I, too, am a basket case of emotions. I have sent 6 other children off into the world (no other military) with ease, but this one is different. Maybe because he is my youngest?? I am excited for him, but am having a hard time letting go I guess.

Hope to see you around here....we will probably have the same PIR date!

Joseph is my youngest also. I think that is what makes it harder. Days seem to be getting a little easier, but I still have my moments. Good luck to your son! Maybe we can also compare addresses when we get them. It would be neat if they were in the same barracks.

The #1 reason for not mailing until you receive the form letter is because RTC politely asks you not to.

That's why I didn't contact the recruiter. My husband was in the Navy and he tries to explain their methods to me. It maybe hard on a mama's heart, but it's part of the Navy's plan!

Best of luck to your son. Mine shipped out on the same day! I'm very excited but yet emotional and cannot wait to watch him walk at graduation. Waiting impatiently for his belongings and information letter.
My son left on 6-23 as well. We miss him so much! I too am very anxious to receive the informational letter. Hoping it comes before the end of the week.

Looks like we might have a little group of Mommas to connect with! :)

Yes , it helps so much!

Yeah for our little group of Moms!!!  I received Joseph's box on Friday.  It was very emotional for me!  Now to wait for the form letter...  I think each day is a tad easier.  I try to keep as busy as possible and the truly seems to help.  Have a great day moms! We are another day closer!!!
