So from the comments on this thread I am seeing a pattern.  Sailors who left 7/1 have a PIR of 8/28.  Sailors who left 7/8 have a PIR of 9/4.  My daughter left 7/15 which based on the above pattern her PIR would be 9/11.  Would they do a PIR on 9/11?  It is Patriot's Day, but I wasn't sure if the military actually observed that as a holiday or not.  I know our letter is coming, I am just speculating and being impatient.  Any guesses?

I'm right with you and have been wondering the same and with it being the 15 yr anniversary and the recent Isis threats and attack in Tennessee.
My SR was July 1 and PIR is 9/4/15. Remember the first week is medical, paper work ect.. They start the following week. This is my 2nd Son in the Navy. You need to book rooms now at the Navy Lodge rooms are going fast.

My boy got there same day. I'm guessing 9/11 but if that division filled fast, they will go into 9/18. I see several 7/1 with 9/4 PIR so I'm guessing the division before filled quickly.

9/11 is not a federal holiday, so there will be a PIR on that date.

By counting 9 Fridays, PIR will most likely be 09/11/2015 for those who arrived on 07/15/2015. It could be 09/18/2015 for some if they are held over for the next TG. That happens sometimes in the summer due to storms and the large number of recruits who ship in the summer. It is possible for some who arrive on the same date to have PIR a week apart. Wait on The Form Letter to know the PIR date for sure. Arrival and What Happens at the RTC within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will let you know what is happening and what to expect.

I know it's not the official form letter address but the recruiter just gave me Ship 3 Div 297 which based on the rtc website, her pir maybe 9/4. Still waiting for the letter but now just curious which it will be.
Yes, Division 297 has PIR on 09/04/2015.

For Reference points - our daughter was July 13th and PIR is 9/4 - Form letter came today and verified the address her recruiter had emailed us this morning. We got her box on Friday and the letter today.

Berryrn03 did you get her box yet?

we got her "box" the day before yesterday, but are STILL waiting on our letter.  We are stalking the mailbox and the poor mailman!!!

mrsfish, join PIR 09/11/2015 TG 44.
