Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 287 and 288
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Boo - no letter today. Hoping the mail is slow...Darn Post Office (cuz my son better have written!!! ) keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow!
Same here . . . .I just knew there would be a letter in the mail today but there wasn't. I know they are busy and I am certain they are physically and mentally exhausted. . .the days I get my hopes up thinking there will be mail or like this past Sunday hoping for a call. . . . those days are the hardest . . . .I know it's all for a reason
Any letters today/this week? I received my letters Thursday last week but I am hearing it's delayed for some reason this week... I want my mail :(
I asked my SO and he got a little upset I didn't receive anything lol... I guess for our division, the recruit/mail officer didn't get the mail out by cutoff time ... so expect double this week!
So, can i ask those that have SR's in DIV 287 to post here or on FB when you start receiving calls. Maybe they know what's up with our SR's in DIV 288!!! Here's to the weekend everyone! Hope we all get some good phone calls.
Very sad. No letter still this week. It's much harder knowing how homesick he sounded the last time. I really hope #288 gets to call soon. :*(
Which division is your husband in? Our son is in 287. . .not married though. . . but going to Nuke school. . . wondering if they have met yet
