Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 273 and 274
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

I received a letter today from my SR. So happy! I got the information about how well the division is doing. So proud of them all!
Do you know how they did on there fire drills? and if they have done the gas chamber drill yet?
My son gave my a drill score, which I have no idea what it meant, but there was an exclamation behind the score. Not sure if it was the fire drill or not. He was waiting for one score - I think it was shooting, but I'm not certain. He indicated that they would do the gas chamber during the week. I won't hear from him until Thursday to know if it actually happened. He told me he passed his RDC PFAs. Does that mean he won't repeat them on this week (Week 6)? I ask because I read somewhere that the 3rd PFA is what counts.
It sounds like we are a lot alike!! LOL RDC PFA BFF OMG lol they are all acronyms and we have no clue to what they mean! (please don't take offense to that)
Im not sure about the third PFA I apologize for not being much help
Just keep praying and keep your blue candle lit (ive got three lit one for my son, one for a lost sailor, and one for a future sailor)
not too much longer
Yes, the 3rd PFA is the one that the SR must pass in order to do BattleStations. The first 2 are more like practice.
Hi Jenndan, any word from your SR? Hope all went well. My prayers have been with you and your family.
Yes, so true. If he had a status change, he would have called. Can't believe I'm saying "Glad you didn't get a phone call". LOL
I AM GETTING SO EXCITED, I CAN'T HARDLY STAND IT!!!!!!!!!
