Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi everyone, I am glad I found you. My son Michael has been in the Navy for two years now and has been in Bahrain for a year and a half. We only have to go to April and he gets a new duty stations. My son is an MA, Naval Security Forces.

My son is MA MWD and headed to Bahrain beginning of April. Anything I ( we ) should know? I am not excited about his one bit.

My son Cooper heads to Bahrain as a MA after the first of the year. I think I understand that he has 2 different trainings here in the Stae Side? Do they send him and then bring him back? if so does the Navy pay for the trips for training? he has already been to Waukegan and is now in San Antonio. So, what next? He thinks he gets leave out of San Antonio 12-16-11 thru. 12-22-11. Does that usually happen?

Hello! My daughter is in San Antonio as well and leaves for Bahrain after the first of the year. She is coming home from Dec 22 to the 29 then back to Tx to finish A school. Then home for a short bit then onto Bahrain. Her last name is Wilson I bet they know each other. Would be nice to chat with another mom that has a child going to the same place.

My Son is also a Master at Arms. He is currently station in Norfolk and will be leaving for Bahrain shortly. He will be assigned to Mobile Security.

My daughter has been in Bahrain since January, she is a MA Security Forces. It has taken her some getting used to, being so far from home, but she is getting in the groove of it now.

Hi - My name is Catherine and my son is Adam. He is just finishing up his training as Master at Arms in San Antonio. He should be able to come home for a visit and then will be shipping out to Bahrain. I must say, I have been nervous about this. I was hoping he would stay clear of the Middle East region. Unfortunately, he wanted this. It is nice to connect with others who have a son/daughter there as well. I also feel a bit better after reading the information on this page.
