Hello. I was looking for other moms in my sons division to see if they received their graduation packets yet. We haven't received ours yet and our recruiter suggested Posting something here to see if anyone else received theirs.

We have received a hand written letter on Saturday, November 29th, but no graduation info. Just curious what others had received. Thanks!!

I don't have a son in your ship or division,  but I've never seen anyone else spell Brandan like I did...  :)

My Brandan leaves for BC on December 10th... this is all new to me... brand new to the site also, but I think it will be a great help.

My so. Has been gone for 4 weeks today. As much as I have missed him, the time has gone by relatively fast. I cannot WAIT FOR GRADUATION!!

This site is awesome. The moms are amazing and have so much information.
Yes we recieved ours Friday the 20th of November, it was post marked the 17th. We recieved our first letter on Saturday the 28th. Our son said his first opportunity to write was the 22nd.
There was a number on the typed letter we recieved that had blanks our son had filled in. The Public Affairs Office for questions regarding graduation, maybe it would be worth a try. (847)688-2405
Thank you all for replying. We received it in the mail today. It was postmarked November 21st but delivered today. Crazy! It lists his address different than his letter (has an address versus generic "Training Recruit Command"-(TRC))

Do you think the letters I sent to the "TRC" address will still get to him?

Thanks!

I would use the address from the form letter.  The others may or may not.  Glad you got the letter!  My son is in 058 also.

B'sMomma, My daughter is in the same Division, so glad you receive the form letter, it has info you will need.  Our mail has been so bad lately, last night they delivered mail at 8:45pm and found out they actually lost some mail and we didnt receive any on Saturday, luckily they found it.  I will be so upset if they loose any of my letters from our daughter.  Be sure to join the PIR 01/08/2015 group and there is a sub group for our SR's ship,  I would send you an invite to it but I am new at this and dont know if I can even do that.

My son is also Ship 11 Div 058. We received his info about a week after he had left. We got his first hand written letter last weekend. it was so good to hear from him even tho he did tell me he didn't feel that great. Stinks not being there to take care of him. I am looking forward to the phone call and hearing his voice.

Today on the phone my son said he has been sick with a cold since he got there :-( He didn't want to go to medical because he didn't want it to set him back. It is sad because I know he could have done better with out having a cold. He said alot in their division have been. I know they will all feel better having talked to us today.

Heather I was worried if they would get sick, but its awful to hear that they would not go to get medical attention in fear of a set back. Talking with my daughter today she sounded ok. I hope he feels better soon.

My son said the same thing in a letter...that he had been sick.  Yesterday on the phone he didn't mention it and he sounded great.  Hopefully they have just had a cold making the rounds or something simple.

"Ricky Crud" is always making the rounds.

Mix germs from all 50 states, stress, different food & water, lack of sleep, massive immunizations and living in close proximity with 80 other recruits and the crud happens. Its usually short lived and everyone survives.
