In my son's letters home today he requested that we write one of his fellow SRs because he hasn't received any letters yet.

We did.

However, I posted this on the FB thread for those willing to write him a letter to contact me through messaging- and I would be more than glad to share his mailing information.  So far there's like 12 or so who've volunteered- some have already sent letters.

It makes me very sad to hear that there is someone who might be without letters.

message me if you want that information, please.

Im hoping we can make his day(s)!

That's nice that you are doing this Alisha.  I met a young lady on here who recently went to BC and I wrote her letters.  She had PIR in December and is now about an hour & a half from where I live.  My hubby and I are going to get to meet her in person on Saturday and spend the day with her!

My son never asks for anything. Finding out things he wants, or wants to do is like pulling teeth. He requested this. Im hoping that it makes him feel good to ask for something for someone else. It makes me feel good doing this for both of them.

please send me all the information. I am happy to help. I am a mother and would love to support these kids

my email address is queennor@Hotmail.com

my child is on deployment currently and gets tons of support from his family, we speak daily via instant messaging. I would love to support another sailor or two with letters or boxes. please give ideas of likes and dislikes if possible

Hi Alisha, I am new here to this site, my son leaves on January 12.  I would be very happy to write to this sailor. Please send me the information. It is very nice of your son to notice and let you know. They should have all of the support they can get. My name is Linda by the way.

I had to request you as a friend so I could private message you his info =)

You rock! Im sure he will appreciate this.

So far there's like 15-17 people writing him.  He isn't going to know what to think! =)

I would be happy to send letters to his fellow SR.  Please send me the information.  Thank you for sharing this information.  It breaks my heart also.

I sent you a friend request so I could send his information via private message =)

I would really like to send a letter. My son is in BC now and I would be sad if he did not get any letters while there. Please message me address and I would love to send a letter. It is very kind of you to do this :)

I sent you a private message =)

I spoke to my son yesterday (he's good- really good!) and he said that the recruit that we were trying to rally letters for, has been moved to another division and he will have a different graduation date.

I asked him if he through the letters would make it to him, he said he was sure they would.

I wish him well!  I hope he soars!

God Bless you all!

What ship is your son in. I have been waiting and waiting for a call or letter and have not received anything but the form letter.
