I stikk havent gotten the box yet either. Makes me feel better im not alone
Left for BC 2/23 and still no letter or box. I know it's only been a week today. I'm so glad we have each other to get us through!
My son left 2/23, I have just received the box, but no letter. I agree, it's been a very long week.
Hello everyone! Is there an address where we can write to them or do we have to wait for the letter?

you have to wait for the letter

I'm soooooo excited. We got the letter today! I still don't know if we're allowed to say the ship/division so I won't say it just in case. But his PIR is April 15th! Which I don't understand because that doesn't even put him there a full 8 weeks. I guess he got moved to a division that came in the week before, since he arrived on Tuesday. But I'm thrilled because one week has already passed (though it seems longer!). I can breathe now. I'm so sorry for anyone who hasn't received their letter yet. I'm sure you'll be getting it soon and will be as thrilled as I am right now! Anyone else have a graduation date of April 15th?

It is fine to say the ship and division numbers as long as your recruit is not in an 800 division and I don't believe that there is an 800 division in the 04/15/2016 TG. All other divisions are a mixture of recruits with contracts for a variety of ratings, so the division number would not indicate rating, but yes, it is wise to be cautious because there are people who have tried to scam our recruits in the past.

Join PIR 04/15/2016 TG 23.

As another new mom,I'm smiling after reading this. Thanks!

My husband left February 23. I got a phone call that night and received his box on Monday February 29. I still have no letter so I am anxious for that! I'm glad I found this site for support.

My son left last Tuesday from Las Vegas. I received his box but not the form letter. How about you?
Hi nanceeo, my son left Indy last Tues also, I've received his box Monday, but still no form letter, anxiously waiting for it though.
Yes LivvieLewWho...we got a push unit, but I've never heard that term before today. I got a phone call today!!! I actually got to talk to my son for 8 minutes - I couldn't believe it! I asked him if he got moved to a division that arrived the week before him. He said no and that everyone that came in the 23rd was in his division and is graduating April 15th. He said they were pushing them through. He didn't know why, but I was beyond excited that he'll be done 2 weeks sooner than I thought!!! They won't even be there a full 8 weeks. I also found out he got a job - he's the starboard watch. What's funny is he said one of the reasons he was chosen was because of his good penmanship! He got that from me :) Anyway, I've been so excited today because I got to talk to him. He was fine - no choking up or anything. This mama is relieved! So what's the deal with a "push unit"? Is there any special meaning behind it or do they just need to hurry them through for scheduling purposes?
