Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

My daughter called today and said she was removed from the Navy because they saw in her medical info (since we have tricker) that she has asthma. They saw the claims and ASSUMED the inhalers she's had periodically were for asthma when they were for bronchhitis. Last time she had an inhaler for her CHILDHOOD ASTHMAS was 2009! How do u make such a drastic move to a young brave recruit without checking the medical records for validity?

Tricare not tricker
Pediatrician has records I cannot sign release and cannot contact her to advise her and have no access to anyone else! I have a military ID and can get on the base should I fly there to straighten this all out?

That would only make it worse.   You still would not have access to her.

Here is the group for Ship Five, and there are contact numbers for Public Affairs.  They can help you help her, maybe get her to sign the HIPPA papers so they can discuss it with you.  There is a process, so there is time to handle this without panic.

Also, it is the weekend, so patience until Monday may be required.

Thank you for your responses. I really hope this can be fixed. I don't understand at all!
My son called yesterday - he is also being removed - states he failed the asthma test and he is being sent home in 2-3 weeks. He has been staying sick since he has gotten their. He is devastated. I thought he was playing a really mean joke, then he asked me to let everyone know to cancel arrangements for PIR. I feel for him. I wish I could do something. I wish there was something that could be done. He has not had issues since he was 8.
Can they get this cleared up by a civilian doctor and try to go back in???
We're fighting this! Her health records prove it! I am also insisting they do a cardiovascular test.

Have you been able to speak with her since Friday to ask them to do a cardiovascular test? I would like to speak with you offline - I will send you a request - I feel that we may be able to help each other in gathering information for our recruits.

No I didn't get a call yet. The connections are very hard to hear. I was given a link that has a lot of good information but I am really hoping this can all be fixed and both of ours returned to training. I don't know how to tell you to contact me.... Are we allowed to put contact information on here? Or is there a way that only we can see or message eachother?

You can add each other as friends here and send private messages.  Harder to see how to do that on a mobile device, try to use "desktop view" if you can, or use a laptop.
