Hi Monica, I have posted pictures of CJs Anchors Aweigh party on my page if you are interested in looking at them. Did you plan a party for your son?
Monica I
I believe they are saying to count 9 Fridays from when they leave. You should get PIR date about a week after they arrive.
Hi Monica my DTR is leaving on Jan. 29 but would like to get a group of Navy moms together so we can meet locally. I am thinking perhaps Feb we can possibly set up a meet and greet in Harker Hts since they have so many great places to eat. I know our area is very Army but surely there are other Navy moms. I will send you a friend request and maybe you and I can get something started.
Hi Monica I live in Moody so not too far from Ft. Hood. I have a daughter that is leaving for BC in January. I am not from a military background at all so was somewhat in shock when my daughter decided to join the Navy. We've never even been anywhere near Navy so wasn't sure why she picked them but that is her decision. The people in this group seem very supportive and give lots of good tips so I know you will be glad you are checking things out with them.
Welcome! Please join us in Texas' Moms! You'll make lots of friends there! Also, we are hosting a breakfast with an Admiral in San Antonio the Wednesday after Thanksgiving. You are welcome to join us! Your son may come also - everyone is invited!
