The Letter

Well I got my letter and my boy is on Ship 12 Division 042 Any others out there? with a grad date of 01/14. I am noticing that many are on ship 12, with different Divisions? If I am correct in my reading the divisions are the units, can someone confirm this?

Let the communications begin!!

We received a letter from Ben. He sounded ok, he asured me he was ok and safe..he said for me not to worry so much. He said the food was good but not as good as mine. lol
he mentioned he was getting all kinds of medical check ups and that they are going to remove his wisdom teeth! I hope that doesn't delay his graduation date. I worried how he did.
Us mothers want to keep on taking care of our babies...its so hard to stop! I'm glad you heard from your son Matt. I'm looking forward to more letters ...soon i hope.

How you doing! Nice to hear from you...I've been doing ok. I'm writing my letters but I still haven't received one yet from Ben. I'm not "into " Thanksgiving at all. It's are first time with one of gone. Usually I would start decorating Thanksgiving night and the kids were help.
We have had a death in the family the same week Ben left...needless to say it's been rather difficult. I"m actually looking forward to some sort of Normacy.

Yes your right...it wierd how you can be proud and sad at the same time. I guess I got to get used to this military life....I also have a 15 years old son who is watching older brothers every step. Woudn't be surprised if he said he wanted to join one day also.
I have a daughter who is the oldest(turning 21 in a couple of weeks). She going to school to be a elementary teacher. I really appreciate this site..talking to moms going through the same thing. a lot of mom know all the in and outs of military life and their knowledge is very helpful to me. I think this site will help me cope.
