DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Hi Cindy, Thank you for sending me a friend request. You have a good-looking sailor! His BC photo reminds me of my son's - same pose and hand position. In regard to the A school class at NTTC, my son said he was designated to march the guys to class every day. He doesn't say much because he is rather shy. I want to go to Pensacola for his A school graduation after the 2nd class. I haven't heard from my son, Kenneth, lately. Hope all is well. Keep me posted on anything you hear. Have a great day! Best regards, Carla

Hi Cindy, It was so nice talking to you, sorry I didnt smile. This is all such a schocker a year and a half...!? Oh well I guess I will have to go visit him in Pensacola. I was even thinking about going there and working for the summer that way Travis and Tyler can spend time together. But for now, Trav bought a TV and Xbox w/internet so at least they can do online gaming... priorities :) He told me he may not even start class for a couple months...? Maybe they will meet, what is your sons name? Talk to you soon. Shelley

Hi and Welcome.

(Please excuse my lateness in welcoming you.  Have been visiting our sailor.)

We are happy to have you on the Navy for Moms site.  You are invited to join either the Illinois or Missouri family page as listed below.  It is a great way to find families in your area and even help plan meet and greets. We also have some packing parties for our troops overseas getting together.

Looking forward to hearing from you in one of our groups!

Be sure and let me know if you have any questions!

PS.  Feel free to “cruise” my page and see if there are any other groups that interest you. One of my passions is supporting our deployed troops.  Check out http://www.navyformoms.com/group/mollysadoptasailorproject and see if it is a group you may like to join.

Calls for Recruits.org would like you to know about a program for the Men and Women of our Armed Forces.  I am giving away free phone cards for Recruits to use while they are in basic training to keep in touch with Family Members and Loved Ones.  I feel that the Family, Loved Ones, nor the Men and Women of our Armed Forces should have to pay for phone calls from Boot Camp.  Please click the link above and get your new Service Member the FREE phone cards they need.
