Hi Navy Moms, I am looking for Moms that have children leaving on 4/9 for BC in Great Lakes. Some days are better then others. Sometimes I think well I have two more months and then I realize that he will be leaving for five years.
Hello Tina happy to know things are fine there. Well here we had severe thunderstorms amd alot of hail damage in part of Texas. Suppose to get more rain today. On top of that my mother n law is in icu. Was able to get my son home to come see her.
Hi Tina so glad your folks are 2 hours away so that Matt can go visit with them. Wish a had family closer to Dee. We are 5 hrs away which is great for all of us. For us here in Texas we have thunder storms the next two days. You also have a daughter right. How is
she doing and how is she coping with her brother been gone. My 15 yr old is very close to Dee and its hard on him at times
We have a Survival Guide for Navy For Moms Newbie (clickable link). You'll find everything you need to get started. Videos, PDF files of boot camp processing days, links to all the important groups plus tips on how to use this site. Keep in mind the videos and PDF files may take some time to download the first time you try it. It'll look like nothing is happening. Be patient. Best part is it'll be here on your very own page as a reference. Click the MY PAGE tab on above menubar to access your page anytime - you should do it at least once a day to see if you have any postings on your comment wall (like this one). Good luck.
The links to everything you need in BC is in the Survival Guide.
Just can't read dates right when I've been up half the night with a sick dog. I was thinking it said March. Sorry....bootcamp is still 8 weeks unless there's a push group, in which case it's 7 weeks. Doubt they do that any more.
