OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Thanks. Glad you like my list of PIR groups. Keep this site active. The best way is to reply to post comment in forum and blog and in your groups.  People live to read what is posted but won't post themselves. Can't figure out the psychology of that yet ...  just the way people are.

I missed it... I was driving home from visiting my daughter and with the road noise (I drive a convertible) and the radio... totally missed it.  He did leave a message :)  so that helped... but I was sick to my stomach the rest of the way home.
