OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Oh, BratMom... Praise God is right!!! Thanks for the post! The 8th is only a few days away... I cried saying grace tonight, and we have 12 more days! My husband keeps saying it's not like you'll never see him again... the men just don't seem to get it, nor does my sister who sent 4 kids to college so far... sending them to boot camp is soooo different! Wishing your future sailor calm seas ahead... and you, God's grace and comforting spirit! ♥
