Hello all, My son is in Hawaii waiting for the ship to get back. He just finished A & C school about 3 weeks ago. He is looking forward to being on the ship. He is an IT.

Welcome heyusonia!  Hope you find this group useful.  Tell us a little about your Sailor and yourself.

My Sailor is a BM2 aboard the USS Michael Murphy.  He is a plank owner as well.  He has been in the Navy a little over 7 years and has just been approved to re enlist next year.  This is the second ship he has been on so far both homeported at Pearl Harbor.

Remember we are here to answer your questions and help support each other.

Hi all. I know that there are some security issues with what we post in reagrds to the ship's travel plans, where it docks, etc. But does anyone know how I could find out when/where the ship will dock next? I am hoping I'll see my son soon. Thanks! ;)

I a, so confused by this forum! Yankee mom. Yes I went to the commissioning but sadly had no time with my sailor all weekend. I am a Navy brat, my dad did 20 years. So next we all make plans to get to Hawaii?!
