Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Just 14 more days and my daughter will be graduating from boot camp. I remember when i couldn't hold in a tear and now i'm so nervous just thinking about driving 12 1/2 hrs to her in the PIR.Time…Continue

What's the best way to travel from northern NJ to great lakes, IL? Fly, drive or train.

@ Samantha's mom,I'm glad you got the call.. I also received my daughter's call yesterday evening and it felt GREAT!! She remained pretty strong until she heard my voice and we both broke down together. Out of my three she is my only daughter and we have a very tight bond. Can't wait to see her and give her the tightest hug ever..

My daughter left for bootcamp on 26/8/15. Does anyone know of anyone in division 359? Today marks 3 weeks since she left and I'm trying to wait patiently for her call but it's truly hard. I know NO news is good news but I just can't wait to hear her voice. How long is the call?

You may want to check out Mom's of Daughters 2 (most active of these), Mom’s of Navy Daughters, and Women in the Navy.
Join PIR 10/23/2015 TG 50 - 9 Divisions (353-360 and 950) to connect with others with loved ones training with your recruit. Divisions 359 and 360 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 (BST) together, so look for others with loved ones in either division.
