Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

There are no groups for just those with loved ones with the Aviation Structural Mechanic (AM) rating, so join Sailors In Pensacola, FL For A School....Corry Station too!! and Parents of A School Sailors in Pensacola and check out Airman Family and Friends. The Rating Information Card for AM can be found at https://www.cool.navy.mil/enlisted/rating_info_cards/am.pdf.

Since you have an SR at the RTC, you can change "Waiting to leave for Boot Camp" above to "Enlisted." I see you have joined your PIR group; I also invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) there. Take care and blessings to you and yours.

paigesmom,

I saw your post on the Navy Daughters group and I wanted to invite you to also join Moms of Daughters 2 group.  We are a friendly caring group of moms and are always willing to listen, share and help each other whenever or wherever we can.  We have Moms who have daughters in all phases of their Naval careers and we understand the concerns and anxieties new moms experience.  Please feel free to join our chats, we love talking about everything from work, family, weather - whatever. Plus the joyful and anxiety filled journey of being a Navy Mom!!!  Let us support you when you're missing her, lend an ear when you need to vent, and celebrate with you when you want to brag!!   I was born and raised in Chardon, OH!!  Left after high school but then moved back from 2003-2009!!  Looking forward to learning about you and your sailor!!!  And welcome to Navy For Moms!!!  Here is a link to our group:
