So let me start this by saying I don't think I'm really very superstitious.

At the Navy Exchange is a wonderfule Proud Navy Mom decal I've been eyeing for months now BUT I refuse to buy it Yet!  I actually feel like I might be jinxing my son if I buy it and actually put it on my car now.  So here's the plan.  When he leaves for boot camp I'll purchase the decal.  When he calls after Battle 21 I'll put it on the car!  Anyone else got their Proud Navy Mom decals yet?

That's funny! I have my Proud Parent of a Sailor decal on my car. They gave him a goodie bag at meps when he signed his contract and sworn in. We're proud of him either way he makes it or not. It's a big step that he's taken and that we admire him for.

My son received a goodie bag.  I don't know if there was a decal in there.  My hubby is retired Navy so I'm going to be making a trip to the NEX to get a t-shirt too.

my daughter received the Proud Parent of a Sailor in her goodie bag also.  a couple of days after she left for boot camp, i had my car washed (it rained right after!),when the sun came out, i then put this &  a Navy Mom sticker on my car.  it is a yellow aztec, so they show loud & proud!

yep, put ours on too.  Got one from MEPS & my husband put that on the day he signed his contract.  My sister gave us 2 more decals on my birthday (3 days before he shipped to BC) & yes they are both on the cars.  One again on my husbands & the other on mine.  My Son is in the US Navy!
