I just had to change my RSVP to not attending. Our son had his appendix removed late Saturday/early Sunday at the hospital in Waukegan. We don't know any details yet of what happens next, but one thing we do know for sure is that he'll be in the hospital about 3 more days (it was a ruptured appendix). He's so disappointed that he won't be graduating with his division, but he's looking forward to picking up where he left off when he's well enough.

We learned from his surgeon that there were four people from RTC who had appendectomies this weekend at the hospital in Waukegan. We know at least one was a reservist--he was our son's roommate.
