Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My daughter said she has became really good friends with another girl from DIV 281, Ship 11. I don't want to post the name on here, but her last name starts with a "G". When I ordered my DIV shirt, they said it was gonna be six weeks.  I won't have mine in time, but I wanted it anyways.  Just wish I could have got it sooner for the trip.

I ORDERED A DIV FLAG SHIRT BUT HAVENT HEARD A THING AND THAT WAS 3 WEEKS AGO. GUESS I JUST GIVE UP ON THAT ONE.. UGGG..

My T-shirt order got screwed up !!   : (  boo hoo hoo.....but will still be there ...getting excieted....heard that they do not use the term Grad-n-go anymore....thought my SR would leave for Pensacola on Friday but not so sure now...am so proud of my son I could burst !!

I am in school FT from 8-4pm that day. First day of the session. It is according to the flight we can get. I would really like to attend. :(

We will be arriving early Wed. morning so we look forward to attending the meet and greet. I am so excited to go to this PIR to honor our brave sons and daughters who have succeeded in this challenge. I cannot wait to see my son and give him a great big hug. See you all soon!! What a great day it will be!!

Thanks for all your help!  After I posted that I needed the information, I found it.  Thanks so much though.  I can't wait until 9-1-11.  Hope I make it to the Meet and Greet next week.  Looking forward to meeting everyone.
