Finallly got a letter today with confirmation from my SR regarding Battlestations.  Does everyone already know? If not, how do I send privately?

I am hoping for something to do for Saturday. "We" had plans for Saturday but that is out as his employer has other plans! grrrr. NOT a happy camper here! Not thrilled about traveling alone. I am a country girl!

I will be at Ramada too. Hubbs and kids til next week. We have no idea what our SR is doing. :) so we are just going with the flow. She did say only wants to sleep, eat pizza, lay in bed and watch movies! It doesn't matter to me but the younger kids are like "WHAT" LOL

I get my son all weekend. We are going to Great America on Saturday and the Mall on Sunday. My SR is going to be schooling in GL.

Can I ask "Who is staying at the Ramada Inn" and "Who is staying until Sunday?" I am asking as I was supposed to be traveling with my boyfriend but now he is being forced to work. If I cannot see my Son on Saturday which I'm thinking most of us won't be, I would love to get together with some people to do some sight seeing or possibly find a travel partner to go to the airport & sit with the bunch waiting to fly out. Especially anyone who's SR is flying to Mississippi as that is where mine is going. I have rented a car for the whole weekend so I can accomodate.

K2011 my son's second letter was really sad too. They were all sick and tired by that point. But the next few letters were more up-beat. Especially the one I got yesterday. Orders are starting to be received and my son got his. He is and isn't happy but says he will just work hard to get what he wants. More upset about the coast I guess, not the ship. He went in undecided I think it's called, where he will be trained in 4 different things and then pick one. I can't find his contract to tell what it really was called. Oh well. ANYWAY he is extremely up beat because we are almost there!! HOOYAH!!

I have been so tired lately with a newborn kitten and working to save money for this trip, but yes, I am SO excited to meet you ladies. I put that I will be attending and the only reason I wouldn't is if I got on the road too late. I'm staying at one hotel that night and moving to a different one Friday because the info for the first one was wrong and we want to just chill by a pool friday night. We will only get a few hours with him Friday since he is staying in GL for A school. But SATURDAY is Great America!!

Hi,  I am from a smaller town.  It will be nice to see a big city.  Any ideas where to stay?
