Sue, I think I can speak for everyone here; we love reading the notes that are sent to you.  :)

thanks Sandy!  I do too!   Here's another one and a few photos:

Hi my name is Daryl W; im in the navy onboard USS NITZE. I and my fellow shipmates would love too thank you for the awesome pillow case and all the supplies that you have sent to help us out once again THANK YOU.

more to the Nitze.  The single one was made for Jake B whose mom is Jo.  She's the reason that the ship got the pillowcases.  I asked Jo what he liked,  then I asked Dana if she had any of those fabrics as I didn't.  Dana went out and bought the Batman fabric and got the pc for him made, like overnight!

What a huge blessing!  Thanks Dana.  The other 2 photos are from her too.

You are so very welcome, glad I was able to help!

more Nitze

here are some more Nitze photos

Sue,

Thank you so very much for the generosity of Heads at Ease.  The pillowcases made it here on Wednesday.  We operate on two different shifts here and I was able to get the last ones handed out yesterday.  Everyone was very happy about the pillowcases.

Thank you again for your time and generosity.

Sincerely,

  Daniel    A TRP 7-17

This is the small Army unit that I mailed to earlier this month.  Tomorrow I need to download some photos!

a thank you note from the Army TF Attack group.  Betty O is in Tucson:

Thank you, Betty O, for the pillow case!  My name is Nathanael .  I have been in the military 10 1/2 years now, and I am currently 3 months into an Afghanistan deployment.  Your box of pillow cases and pictures/notes was appreciated by all!  We are very thankful for your prayers and thoughts.
Sincerely, Nathanael
I wrote back to him and here is his reply:
Sue,
Thanks for the reply, and again for your encouragement to deployed troops!  I enjoyed hearing from you and reading your e-mail.  In answer to your question, I am the one on the right in the last picture I sent, and I have attached a picture of the pillowcase I received.
Nathanael

another note, and I didn't take the time for a photo but they were all patriotic:

Hello Sue! My name is Tyler B and I am co president of the Veterans Heritage Project at ironwood ridge high school. What we do is, we interview veterans and publish their stories in a book, which we give to all the veterans and then one is sent to the library of congress. On Friday March 28, my co president and I hosted a softball game to honor those who served. We had about 6 WW2 veterans come out and about 6 Vietnam, Korea. After we honored them by bringing them out to the field, they received the pillow cases and letters that you were so generous to give to us! They loved them so much! Those pillow cases were absolutely beautiful and I think that it is such a great thing that you are doing. Thank you so much for allowing us to give our veterans these pillowcases. It was a great day and you topped it off with helping us put an even bigger smile on the veterans faces.
Thank you so much for everything you do, and allowing us to be apart of giving the veterans the pillowcases. God Bless!
Tyler B

GO NAVY! BEAT ARMY!!

Awesome Sue!!!

it is so much fun to get thing like this!

From The USS Gettysburg

Maryellen

Thank you for the personalized pillow case. It is beautiful and I really LOVE it. The crew is also very thankful for all the pillow cases we received. I wish you could have seen their faces when I opened them up. It is such a fabulous idea to send those. We are short on bed linen so they help out a lot.

I noticed you were from Hoover, Alabama. I am also from the great state of Alabama. I grew up in a small town of Grand bay. It is about 30 miles south of Mobile. I guess that would make you a die hard Alabama Crimson Tide Football fan. Hoover produces some great talent that plays for Alabama.

Thanks again for the pillow cases. It is because of people like you that makes our lives a bit easier being away from home!

Be safe and God Bless you
