Kaitlyn, - I am a little confused. Did your boyfriend just complete PIR? If so, then they usually have liberty for the weekend, if they are staying in GL for A school. Depending on the sailor's A school, there options for having visitor's once they start may varying. Your boyfriend is going to have the best answers for you as to when you can go see him.
It was meant to say as soon as he graduates he will head there the next morning. I just missed a word. Lol. He is going to Pensacola after graduation. I know he has liberty the day of graduation, but I don't have a ticket, so I’m trying to figure out an estimated time I’d be able to see him at A School. I know once he gets there he will know more, but just antsy to see him & struggling with even the 10 weeks & now having to wait till he gets Liberty at A School.
Okay, so your sailor will be flying out after PIR - and headed to FL - that makes a lot more sense. - This post of mine, probably won't be of a lot of use, but it will give you some idea for his PIR - What PIR weekend may be like for those flying out of GL - Navy For ...
Here is a group for sailors in Pensecola - https://navyformoms.ning.com/group/sailorsinpensacolaflforaschool
I believe there are several schools there, so again the liberty time can vary depending on what their schooling is. It also depends on if there is a delay or not with them actually, "classing up" - that is, a class is full of enough sailors to start a new rotation.
