Looking forward to getting to know those who are in my son's division.  He is 19 and will be a NUKE.  I am so proud of him.

Hi friends of  03/070!  We have a COUNTDOWN of just 4 short days!  I hope everyone is healthy and happy and packing away!  I know the scarf thing has been over talked, but I decided I will get a hunk of green fleece to cut into scarves for my family just in case some or many of our division planned to wear them! I hear that some PIR dates are really into it and many divisions have them in a different color, and then some PIR groups don't.  Not sure for this group so I will do it anyway  :)  Have a day filled with surprise blessing!

It was 2 months ago that our SR left for Great Lakes...How long ago that seems...and how much we have all been through together !!...I know i am going to have a hard time concentrating on work these next few days...I am looking forward to meeting you all, and cannot wait to see my SR in 4 days!!!!!!!

Just left you a private message!  How are you today?!  Yes, work is going to be a crazy frustrating distraction from our priorities right now!  I got home at midnight last night because I work 2 to 10 in a Hotel with 1000 people running around right now, (Literally a conference with 1000 guest!) and tonight will be another late one! At least the time will be filled and fly by quickly!

I got your message...sent one back...just 4 more hours to work today..then 2 more days...lets get this over with....

Hard to believe it has been 2 months.  I am working 12 to 14 hour days until I leave Thurs AM.  Very tired tonight.  Time is passing to fast now.  I will be taking his quilt to him his first full weekend at A school, I am not going to be able to finish it this week.  Looking forward to meeting you all.

That would be nice to meet   :)  Will you be going to Sarges Meet and Greet?  Long hours of hard work make this trip more like a vacation, right?!  Sounds like we are all going to be exhausted!

Any one going to a meet and greet?  Weigh in on this if you would like.  Where is every one going, and would you like to meet up with other PIR 02/17 families?  I am waiting until I hear the comments. I am leaning toward Sarges, sounds like good family fun!

We are planning on going to Sarges Meet and Greet...Hope to see you all there...

Sarges for me.  What time does everyone plan on trying to arrive?

can we go to more than one? just happened to be registered at the hotel meet and greet. where is sarges?

Ooops, sorry Connie!, I aaam exhausted, asked you on previous comment with out reading all!

We plan to go to Sarges! We are coming from AR and leaving Wed. afternoon to make sure we are there in time to make it with no problem by Thursday! We have our first snow on the ground today so we are hoping for clear weather the rest of the week. It is about a 12 hr drive for us but are so excited and cannot wait to meet the other families and give a big oh hug to my new Sailor!! Hope to see everyone there! What time is everyone planning on getting there?
