Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 119 and 120

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My husband called me tonight and repeatedly said 'write every day, it's what keeps me and all the guys going. I almost want to cry when I don't get a letter...okay it isn't that bad but please write." So, I was thinking I could get a elementary English class to write to him (if all goes well) then I remembered the other 80 or so people that he is living with.

My plan is to,with your help, contact a local school and see about getting a class a class to write to our recruits in div 119 since my husband is in 119. If you think this is a good idea go ahead and respond with your SR's name.

I'm not sure if this violates any OPSEC rules. I don't see how it would. Please just leave your comments below. At the least we could write to each others SR or something.

I guess missed comments from other parents, but we are already booked in the Springhill Suits. I'm a little concerned because I haven't had a phone call since last Saturday. Did anyone get one today?

None from my son today,  Glad ur at Spring Hill we are too.  My husband said we shouldnt expect one now for a while, but he is old school navy, didnt think they'd get to call at all.  But expect one at anytime, I was reading on the BC page and some girls called this morning at like 7am chicago time, they are in a different division but never know.  Stay strong and know they are well taken care of, NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS,  thats my motto thru this whole time.

Thanks for letting me know Red Rover. I saw that several moms from 119 were talking about calls on Wednesday and we didn't get one. Then Zach had said he should be able to call today and didn't.

We will probably be getting to the hotel late on the Thursday before PIR. We are going as far as my moms in OK on Wednesday then leaving early on Thursday. It will be about 15 hours with stops but hope to be there before 9 pm.

Thanks its nice to know this is available

My boyfriend is ship 12 division 120. I just heard from him last night.

Welcome, my son is DIV 120. I got a call also.

Got another letter from my SR today...he informed me that his DIV is on track for making Hall of Fame!!!!!

hey have y'all gotten letters yet this week? asked the same thing on FB lol but I'm just double checking

I received 2 letters from my SR yesterday.  Hoping for a call this weekend :)

No mail this week, Maryk is a lucky Momma, my SR must Hate to write.  Maybe he wrote Grandma, thats more important this week anyway, or she's gonna be mad and if Grandma aint happy then nobody's happy.  Just Kiddin.  We'll just keep writing, he did ask for pics from his dad so I did mail a paper with pics and we all wrote on it.  I didn't see any pics on the NRTC website of our SRs.  If any of 119/120 see any please post for us all.  It looks like only 134 and 117/118 (the girls) were on there.  I am ok with who ever gets on there, it gives the rest of us a little peak at whats going on there.  I would much rather prefer a call this week if we are lucky enough to get another.  Ok ladies lets all pray our SRs get to call home soon.  Counting down the days and only 3 more Fridays until we are there for PIR, HooYah.
