OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi Connie, heard from my son also just now, he is a blue shirt (or will be when he's done with indoc and cleaning).

I'm guessing Alan is still doing indoctrination. I'm not sure how long that takes. Do you drive or fly? It will depend on the weather for us. Definitely let's coordinate.

Hi AB moms! My son is an ABH on the Stennis. He's new to the ship, since 10/5. I haven't heard from him but I can't wait to send packages. I got those flat rate boxes, the post office told me I can save 15% on shipping if I do it online. Connie, I will go to see them off, maybe I will find you there.
