My daughter is newly stationed at Goose Creek. I'm glad I found this site. My navigating skills around this area are rough. Any suggestions about how to communicate more efficiently?

For those ladies on here from the PIR 12/22 group, make sure that you check out the RTC Facebook page.  There were about 5 new photos on there today.  Who knows, you may even see one of your sailors?

12/17 PIR you should look at them too, it does show some of the sailors in their barracks and cafeteria.  It's nice seeing where our sailors were housed for 2 months.

I know I sound like a whiner, and am going to stop! IB is texting me which I'd a hire improvement over BC, and MAYBE we can video chat this evening, THAT would make my week!

I know what he is doing, and he says he feels find, happy to hear that news.

Rose, IB keeps telling me there is nothing he needs/wants, other than the laundry soap. I am planning on sending him stuff anyway. One site has a recipe for a pie in a jar. I am gonna look for pumpkin. I'll put the lnk hare when I find it.

Yep.....I know he roll his eyes and just for mercy he didn't do the pssss with his mouth.

I'm here reading all this things about packages and I'm asking my self is my son weird or what.  I talk to him last night, he sound tired, he still sick (wonder when is going to be completely clear) working in all he have to do to class up.  I ask him if he need something, what do you want me to send you and HE said nothing...I will buy everything up here (of course I'm not listening and once I'm sure that he receive my weird packages with not name I will send another with his beautiful name and a, surprise!!!)

NDG....I'm there with you he is so bad in communication that if you all remember (complain about thru BC) his letters he did it as journals. But better that nothing, let me not complain, ja, ja!!!

Ladies....your are too fast for me, but I want to take a chance and said thank you to all of you for all your support, ideas.... everything.  I love my family here, I come home (like now) and start the computer before husband get here (in ten more min., let me hurry up) and then at night again.

Well now to do house work....like cooking......I hate......

My son has been texting me everyday from Pensacola.  So awesome!  He is not allowed to use a computer right now.  He told me not to send any cookies.  Rained this morning so he was in the classroom.  Passed a second swim test already.  This is so much better than BC.

Ugh! I don't know why the Send Message to Group didn't work. I just figured that everyone got it yesterday. I'm sorry :( Did anyone get the message? I will send you the addresses Donna and Wendi. Anyone else who would like them, please PM me and I will send the addresses in a reply back to your pm. Thanks.
Terry, glad to hear your neighbor was able to calm your son. ((hugs))
Donna, good luck with the clearance interview.
