My daughter is newly stationed at Goose Creek. I'm glad I found this site. My navigating skills around this area are rough. Any suggestions about how to communicate more efficiently?

Hi everyone...I don't mean to be a downer but I have a question since some of your Sailors have already left for A school....my "T" is in the process of packing up his stuff (he's leaving after the weekend) and I am so weepy (RAOC) and I can't stop myself.  I am so excited and happy for him and I know this is nothing compared to what we all went through while they were in BC, but I'm a mess, any one else go through this?  Not to mention I meet up with a couple of my girlfriends this morning and was sharing my feelings on the BC experience and the next leg of the journey and I was told "are you talking to anyone about this?" meaning counseling, that hurt me so deeply.  I think I'm having a hard time because this is my first child leaving home.  Any advise or words of widsom are appreciated....before I (or my girlfriend...haha) check me into the coocoo bin..
