Susan, thanks, I didn't even think about the time. lol  It did seem odd that it wasn't that long.  So, I guess I will hear from him in about another hour.

I didn't want you to get upset if its longer than 2 hours :)

Betsy that flight should be about 2 hours but he will be going back into central time. D thinks its funny that he takes off at 2:45 and lands at 3:30 but his flight is 2 hours lol.

Susan, when A was packing up, I was asking him if he had certain things.  He kept saying, "Mom, I need to do this myself"  It's so exciting to see them transform.  :)

Donna, ((hugs)) I hope S doesn't have any trouble tomorrow.

A just called me from Charlotte as he was boarding his plane for Pensacola.  I should hear from him soon, because I think that flight was only 45 minutes long.

Well, S just called Quarterdeck. He let them know that flights are being cancelled at BWI airport. As of now almost all flights leaving thru 1:30 am are cancelled. He was told to call back tomorrow if when we arrive at airport flight is cancelled. It is almost 3hr drive from home. I hate to think I can check status on computer and see it's cancelled and still have to make a trip to airport. He was told that they would then see what they could do to get him flown out. Dont want to risk ourselves traveling there if he isnt going anywhere.

D lands in Pensacola at 3:30pm. Cindy - he was grinning ear to ear when I showed him the pics. We lived in FL for 8 years and he feels like he is going home:) Hang in there everyone. We survived BC so we can survive this. We are on a wonderful journey with our sailors. I am so happy for all item and this new chapter in their lives. I was helping D put together a basic budget earlier and I kept thinking how cool it is for him to have this opportunity and a clean slate!

Thanks guys...hope it helps to those that are going to Pensacola, trying to help :)! Since we are from the snowy cold of Minnesota this helped me, that "E" is at least someplace beautiful and a little warmer!! @Betsy, E arrived at the same time (plane landed 11:15) last Sunday. Then he was driven to the base and still doing paper work at 2:00am ! Hang in there ladies!!!
