My daughter is newly stationed at Goose Creek. I'm glad I found this site. My navigating skills around this area are rough. Any suggestions about how to communicate more efficiently?

Hi all!! Hope everyone is well.  Yesterday was interesting - CJ blew up big time - had a pitty party. He had plans with a buddy to go skating and they they all ditched Cj to go into Chicago for the annual St Patty's day parade. Anyway Cj said he hated all Navy guys and that he had no friends and on and on.... It took awhile to calm him down. I told him to have friends he had to be a friend and it was not all about him. Anyway today he is better. I just wish he would make some friends. He would feel so much better if he did. - Children UGH!!!!

Hello to everyone...I just got back from Groton...exhausted from a whirlwind trip, but I just had to say how wonderful it was to be there! I was so proud of N and all of our sailors! I will write more and post pictures tomorrow...I think I am going to go have a glass of wine and unwind after all of the excitement!

Will keep all of our sailors and friends/family around the world in my prayers tonight!

Love to you all!

Saying prayers for our family and friends affected by the earthquake in JP; special prayers for Kristin and her BF in Hawaii Betsy and also to your sailor EDS.  Pretty scarey!

A has graduated BESS - Ash texted me a pic of him but its too dark to post.  It was a nice graduation; very few family members present.  They were enjoyng a day of R&R and then tomorrow are going shopping and to a show at a casino to celebrate.  Hoping to hear from Penny, Rose and Elizabeth as they were there.

Drew and I got our enhanced Driver's licenses today so we can cut through Canada to get to CT in April; should be here in 3 weeks.

Nanny2 - glad your sailor made it home safe and sound.

Penny SD - love the poem sniff sniff.

Betsy - hang in there!  What a challenging time for you ((Hugs))!  Let's chat some time this weekend so you can catch me up.

I'm off to a hockey game with 10 GF's tonight - I hope the Saginaw Spirits are ready for us!  Hope everyone is having a good start to your weekend.

Spoke to my son that just arrived in Hawaii Wednesday for his first duty station and he said all is well for them.  They did have to secure, tie down, the helicopters and jets on base.  Hope it's the most they get.  Now just waiting to hear from family on Guam.  Lines are busy.

Just heard that our military in Japan are fine...no injuries.  Now lets keep our prayer for those who were affected by this earthquake...

Betsy,  praying for you & your family. How stressed you must be right now. I pray everything works out for you & your house. It is always something. Reading about A brought tears, how proud you must be. Hang on to his words to help you get through your stressful times. He sounds like a real sweetie.

Well D finally made it to ky, his flight was delayed 2 1/2 hrs. He said the crew was MIA, don't know what was up w/that & then the plane had mechanical problems. Glad he didn't tell me that part last night. He left SD at 11 am & arrived in Ky 12:30 am, not sure if he is up yet. LOL  The pic  is in my photos now. LOL

Phoebe  I was wondering about SD & S.  Keep us updated.

Sharon, congrats to A.  I hope he gets to stay close to you for a little longer.

Prayers to all.
