HEY LADIES!!

Sounds like everyone is busy going and doing huh.>>> N got his orders today for after his Military Working Dog School. He will be going to Maryland. He seemed excited, it is where the Flight School is. He found out the first week of MWD school they have to train and get bit by the dogs (with the big gurad/pad on their arm). After one week he will get his Dog. He will keep the same Dog while in San Antonio but will get another one in Maryland. I can't wait to see him at his A school Graduation. I think his Dad will Pin his Badge on him, soo neat!!

Wow Salma Italy sounds like a fun place to go , maybe you can go visit.

Terry hope A feels better , and I am sure he will pass his PFA then!

Susan hope D is feeling better about the test. I know what he means I am not a good test taker.

Really neat seeing all of our Sailors growing up huh. Look back to what seems like a long time ago to us IN BOOT CAMP. I feel SOO BLESSED TO HAVE FOUND ALL OF YOU MY NEW FRIENDS. SO GLAD THAT WE ARE ALL ON THIS JOURNEY TOGETHER.

Hope you all have a great WEEKEND !! Celebrate Valentines Day with the one you love !!

Priscilla hope all is well for you and the Baby!!! :)

Hi Salma - My Son too is at Nuke School (MM)  and I too can totally relate to the exhaustion, I see it when we spyke and I hear it when we talk.  S is in Class 1114 - PIR on 12/17 as well -  ship 3 Div 024.    We are headed to SC next weekend and Im so excited to see him.

To all Our Groton Mom's - I live on the East End of Long Island - very close to Conneticut, we typically receive the same weather, so Im glad to report - we are expecting weather in the mid 40's and low 50's next week.. I have lived on LI all my life and I cant remember a winter this bad.

Anita - WOW Italy - what a wonderful experience

Lori - I love the Ribbon idea - definately stealing that one,  I too wore red today!

@Terry Praying that A feels better soon and passes his PFA next week.

@Anita so excited for your son and you. It's great that he got chosen for the job he wanted!

@Betsy, I hope A received lots of birthday cards this week.

@Salma, like Terry, my K is also in Nuke school. He is an ET, class 1116

@Elizabeth Have fun at the packing party. It sounds like fun.I know your trip is going to be great. I wish I could go see my sailor, but he's so far away!!

I like the idea of red shirt friday. I think I need to go shopping!!

Hi girls...yahoo my computer is FINALLY fixed, (thanks to my wonderful hubby)I've been reading posts on my phone and I so wanted to jump in a times but not easy on those teeny tiny buttons.

Tomorrow is the Molly's Adopt a Sailor packing party here in FL, I'm excited to meet some Navy mom's in my area and to take a part in such a wonderful event, I'm gonna take my camera so maybe I can post some pictures.

Talked to T briefly over the past week and he has been down in the dumps its been a rough week for him (beside I think he is super tired which doesn't help)....  My younger son and I planned a trip to go visit him in March (I keep telling my younger son we are gonna be like Thelma and Lewis) we are pretty excited about that, hopefully he will have "phased up" and can spend the weekend with us off base.

Anita- congratulations to your Sailor what a great achievement to be the only one chosen for the job.

Salma - wow Italy that will be amazing for your Sailor and also nice to know that he has friends going with him.

Lori - Red Shirt Friday!!  Every Friday I wear a red cardigan and haven't announced to my co-workers about Red Friday (sometimes I can't talk about military things without getting choked up) so either they think I have limited clean clothes or by Friday I'm really to tired to think about what I want to wear to work.  I see other people in stores or where ever wearing a red shirt and I want to hug them...crazy I know. :o)

Hello Girls!  Hope everyone has had a good week.  Mine is ending better then it started.  Was a bit under the weather but feel pretty good today.

Anita - so so happy for Nick and you.  You must be very proud - Wow!  The only one chose for the job - doesn't get much better than that!

Susan - poor D; what a stressor.  I hope he is feeling better after doing better on the last test.  My youngest isn't a test taker so I know how frustrating it is.  I'm glad Bryan had some good pointers to share - D has the best support in the world with you 2.  I'm sure it was frustrating not to have that Phase 2 card for your visit - really stinks!   So glad you got to see him though - I'm sure it helped all of you!

Salma - Italy - WOW!  What a great opportunity to see such a beautfiul country.  I hope you can visit.  Although it is a far distance to see each other which is difficult I'm sure.

Priscilla - do we have a baby yet??

Groton Penny - A told me he didn't think I'd have to participate in any kind of security clearance visit.  I told him if anything changes to let me know - I want to be sure I have my make up on and hair done!

Sharon - they are saving the best for last!

Drew and I hung a new flag outside today; its red, white and blue stripes with a yellow ribbon in the center - we definitely are on display as a military family!

I wore my Red Friday shirt today!

Salma, Wow!  You sailors are moving along well in their careers.  What an awesome experience that will be for him.  I can just imagine the adventures that are ahead of both of your sailors.   My prayers are with your sailors and you.  ((hugs)) to you.

Salma.....I really admire you, I don't know how can you do it? Two and one going to Italy..Uff!   Mine is in Groton and I know he will have to move too (but I prefer not to think about) and I miss him so much, I can't wait to see him God first next month.  BUT I KNOW everything it will be alright and your right about saving to go visit him.  Look it as opportunity to see another country. lol  Seriously GOD is with you and will give you strength.

Anita: that is such exciting news of your son, especially since he was the only one chosen! :)

Susan: Prayers for D. I'm sure everything will work out for him.
