Since we are now able to send packages, wouldn't it be great if we shared our creative ideas of what we intend to send to our sailors?

My daughter is newly stationed at Goose Creek. I'm glad I found this site. My navigating skills around this area are rough. Any suggestions about how to communicate more efficiently?

Hey Ladies,
Beautiful Sunday in ALA. It was in the 50's today and actually saw some sun shine.... :) I talked with N about his pay also but he said his looked ok, nothing out of the ordinary for him , but I told him to keep a close watch on it. Getting ready to send him out another package. He asked for some of his Movies and X box games and some Hot Fudge Pop Tarts, can't find any in San Antonio. We are waiting patiently for his orders hopefully end of this week. He said the other day 20 days and I will have my BADGE. Whew kinda scary for a Mom (lol). I am very proud of him, he has made really great on all of his test and I think that he is in the top ten of his class.
Cindy: I soo agree I think that the Keel could have been MUCH BETTER. I really think that they could take group shot every time it wouldn't be that difficult to print, they could just add that new page every time. But I guess they didn't ask us huh?? LOL>
Priscilla: Good luck with the Baby , that is the department that I work in. Is this your first baby? If so messege me and I will discuss some tips for you Privately , some girl things lol.. Be sure to take the Babies Bag in with you and include a cute out fit for the Hospital pics, and a cute blanket that matches if you have one . We do some really different things for Pics now. If I can help you let me know.
Hope you all had a BLESSED SUNDAY and will have a WONDERFUL WEEK!!
ANITA~~~~
Hi Nancy, We missed you. ((hugs)).
Ladies, make sure that you tell your sailors to keep a close eye on their paychecks. Many paychecks have been wrong. My son's paycheck this past week was ridiculously low. Thank goodness, my daughter's bf (Navy) looked at my son's pay stub and told my son which things were appropriate and which of them weren't. He also told him where to go to get is all straightened out.
OK, you guys are just WAY too busy and I haven't had a chance to get on here much. Taking off in a couple of seconds but wanted to check in. I will need to come back with notepaper so that I can keep my responses straight! LOL
Lots of changes in so many lives right now...keeping you all in my prayers.
Have a wonderful day!Hi all....It's taken awhile to catch up...........oh my gosh it must be in the air.....@Lori I can totally relate..... my son E just signed up on Wednesday for the Navy. He goes to Great Lakes in May for boot camp. I guess we can plan another trip to PIR in July!! We just told K this morning. He is pretty excited about his brother going in. E will be headed for Pensacola for A school.@Betsy I'm sure I will have lots of questions for you about Pensacola. Same place his dad had A school......but nearly 30 years ago.....can't believe I said that. Wow long time. Well there is only one kid left who could possible join and he's the oldest, and he's thinking about it!!! Have a great weekend everyone. Moura
