My daughter is newly stationed at Goose Creek. I'm glad I found this site. My navigating skills around this area are rough. Any suggestions about how to communicate more efficiently?

Salma, Congratulations on your new sailor.  You must be so proud and rightfully so.  Woohoo!  Glad to hear that both of your sons are all settled in their new school now.  What an exciting time it is for you.  We missed you and are glad to see you back.  ((hugs))

Hello Everyone,  I check daily to see what is happening with everyone.  My son is in Pensacola (airman) and he is doing well.  He is the process of completing each  of his phases.  More privileges with each phase.  He is not allowed a computer or TV at the present time.  Only a cell phone.  We text back and forth everyday.

Cindy, if you don't get the invitation this time, I would just open a Yahoo e-mail account and use that just for the group.

Cindy, does he go from 1500 to 2300?  He might be in A's class.

I'll try again with the invite.

Elizabeth, I'm so happy to see you on here again.  So sorry that T is having homesick moments.  I know that must tug at your heart strings.  ((hugs))  I think that the idle time is hard for them to handle, especially after all the busy time at BC.

If you pm me your email, I will try to send you the link to the Yahoo page.  I tried to send it to Cindy last night and it wouldn't work, but I'll give it another try.

Hi everyone I'm here :0) I don't get much computer time at home so I'm usually trying to catch up on all the posts via my phone...not easy :0( I think my T is a little homesick school hasn't started and today he found out that he is being pushed back another week or 2 he actually seemed ok with it but I think the idle time is hard for him I know he's ready to get moving. I have to admit I've had a couple weepy moments of missing him lately so helping him with homesickness has been a little hard for me thankgoodness we've been texting so he's unable to hear me break down, this letting go thing is really for the bird. Ok enough with all that, it sounds like everything is going good for everyone and that your Sailors are all doing well. What is the yahoo calendar? My phone doesn't show the fridge so I can't see the yahoo calendar either...seez I really need to kick everyone off the computer don't they all know I have to catch up with my Navy Mom's if someone can send me the link that would be great.
