Since we are now able to send packages, wouldn't it be great if we shared our creative ideas of what we intend to send to our sailors?

My daughter is newly stationed at Goose Creek. I'm glad I found this site. My navigating skills around this area are rough. Any suggestions about how to communicate more efficiently?

Donna, I hope you are feeling better. ((hugs)) to you. Sorry to hear you were not feeling well on your birthday.
Penny, I hope Cj had a good birthday. I hope he got all his cards and presents in time. ((hugs))
Sara, I sent your sailor a card too, hope he got it in time. ((hugs))
I talked to A briefly today, he was on a break from the 2nd half of the PFM class. Nothing really going on, just said hi.
Happy Belated Birthday Donna! I hope you are feeling much better today; sorry you were punk and weren't up to celebrate YOU! I hope you have a chance to celebrate on another day.
Susan - I should have read all posts before I started responding! Sorry to hear about D's girl's decision. Its hard on these young girls and on our Sailors. :-( I hope things work out! (hugs to D).
CJ Penny - I can't wait to hear about his reaction either! I bet he'll smile - hope he is enjoying his day. AND, (hugs) to your mom. You've raised a fine young man :-)
Hugs Penny! I know exactly how you are feeling. E celebrated his 19th B-day in Boot Camp...and like you, my first B-day away from him since he was little :(!! I hope CJ has a wonderful day!! Its harder on us mom's then it is on them!! I hope he gets my card today!!!
((Hugs)) everyone!!
Hi Everyone,
Havent been on much, have had one of the strains of the flu. Yesterday was even my bd and I enjoyed it by spending the day shivering under blankets on the couch !! My visit with the FBI went pretty well. Was very surprised at how many people she had checked out. Knew all about our family before she visited us. Kinda scary really. So hopefully S will get his top clearance !! He was to also start classes today with Susan's D !!! Also said it would be middle of next month before he could wear civvys, but by 21st of this month he will have liberty off base.
Susan, so sorry to hear about D & W. I guess time will tell on how things will go with them. ((hugs)) to them.
Let us know how his first class went today. That's exciting that he is starting now.
Penny - I'm so glad CJ is liking GL! What a relief for you! I hope he has a very happy birthday :)
D was supposed to start his classes today. I can't wait to talk to him tonight to see how it went. All the IT's were given their secret clearances so they could start school right away. The top secret's will come in before they start C school (for those that are doing C school). D and his gf are on a "break". She is frustrated with him because he won't spend hours on the phone with her. He is pretty mad about it right now and feels that her Navy GF's have instigated this break. I have been encouraging him to build relationships and make friends with his fellow sailors. We will see what happens, I will let you all know.
It is snowing, snowing, snowing. No school or work for us today. I am ready for spring and am really looking forward to my trip to Pensacola on Feb 2!!
