My daughter just emailed me a 21 page document that was just released to them from the Navy on the entire tc event. It includes EVERYTHING you need to know. It also has an itinery of the daily activities that we will be facing. HOOYAH ITS HERE!
Ladies I highly recommend calling the ombudsmans! They can give out information. :)
today everything is ugh!! My pup has a really nasty ear infection and its hurting him a lot :( dryer know broke offf and its stuck so I cant wash more clothes and sheets, started cleaning, there are parts of my floor I thought was black because they didnt tile it all the way... started scrubbing its DIRT! I am sooo grossed out!! :( When I first moved here it took me 3 hours and 2 overnight treatments to get the oven clean! ugg!!
Im in 1st port city, cant wait !
FYI you will get NO information from the port base, my parents called and they said they couldnt give out that information to watch the news on Channel 12 and 4 for detailed info on times.
Not sure who asked for infomation about the Navy Lodge, I will be staying there along with several other famlies. Navy Lodge757-489-2656 (not located on base), Gateway Inn (located on base) 1-877-628-9233...hope this helps. Is it just me? The closer time get to me seeing my daughter I get BUTTERFLIES. I just dont want anything to go wrong. My husband keeps saying I should come down, everything will work out fine.
Set ready go!! bye bye hope you all have a wonderful time with your Sailors!!!!!! WooHoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The hotel on base is the Navy Gateway I think and the one off base is the Navy Lodge about 5 minutes down the road give or take. The sailors will probably stay on the ship if they do not get their own hotel room off or have a place to stay. I dont have numbers for either though. I would imagine both of the Navy hotels are filled up :/
