Hugs to you dolly! You are an amazing woman and I pray blessings for you! Your story touched my heart and never apologize for what you say when it cones from the heart. God is my strength and when I think of all he has gotten me thru, I am humbled that He chose me for the task.

Sailormom- I got a "before Mother's Day" email in obedience to his Dad's email that said as "loud" as possible...don't forget your mom on Mother's Day. Altho it came as a result of a not so subtle prod...I was still grateful. Hope that doesn't sound too pitiful & door-mattish. Sometimes, you just have to really let it go, whether you want to or not. I can relate to your pain. We've had a lot of kicks thrown our way this year. I don't expect ANYthing anymore, it makes me too crazy. Hang in there. I believe everyone when they say it will get better...

Ok, I'm sort of lost, but I don't want to back-track & try & figure out what happened... I have sort of a dumb question. When they fill out their "chits" (?) do they have to say where they are going? What if they don't go where they say they're going? The reason I ask, is I have a feeling our address is being "used". I miss my child, but I don't want to be implicated in a "chitty" lie.

Lynn, my shout out was on the 2nd page (pg 9), I had to search it out and then when I emailed Ethan, I told him where it was at.

I'm glad you ladies are finding partners for the pillowcases. My daughters' boyfriend is Air Force and is leaving for the sandbox next week and she wants to make pillowcases for his group. 75 of them! So I have to get those finished first before I start on my son's squadron. I will be searching out yard sales for fabric and asking my friends to do the same.

You all have a great day! I gotta get ready for work. There is someone in OKC wanting a snickers and a diet coke! I fill vending machines and those are our best sellers! haha

My son emailed me, said the line for the phone was outrageous. Said he didn't have time to wait and would check again after he finished working. He said he loved me and wished me a happy mother's day. I miss him a lot too! I didn't cry at all today until I got his email. He is such a sweet young man and I can still feel the last hug I got from him! He said some of the guys were counting down the days until they get home and he told them that I was planning on sending them pillowcases and stuff for their cruise. lol I think he is excited about their reaction to the pillowcases. I sure love him!

GQ is general quarters and rack is their bunk. I'm pretty sure on the GQ but can't be positive. Maybe they were first in line for the computers. I ask stuff and haven't really gotten the answers from my sailor. I get most on N4M
