Haha dolly,I know what you mean. One summer I had my sailor and his sister in the ER almost once a week for stitches and the last time we went they made me stay in the waiting room for a while. When I finally got in the room they said they needed to hear the story from the kid. The stitches were in his foot. Gosh like I intentionaly cut his foot.

I bet they would all get along just great! lol My father in law is just as big of a fire bug as my guys. My oldest son thinks he needs to own every kind of gun they make. My daughter's apartment was broken into several months ago and she even has a gun with a red beam on it for accuracy. My sons and nephews will blow up furniture and stuff on the 4th, they are always very safety conscience and my mother in law makes them stay away from her bird houses and then they just go to town with the fireworks. They like it more than Christmas. We live in a rural community and people are use to us so it's not a big deal. I have a son (kinda, he isn't really mine just lived with us for a while when he was in high school) that is Navy EOD, he has been in for about 12 years and he has been a great influence on Ethan. His kids even call me Gramma. Now he likes to blow things up and he even gets paid for it. haha

When my oldest got his drivers license, my sailor was 7 and he wanted to drive his truck. My son told him he didn't know how and while I was busy in the house, he got my keys out of my purse and drove my car into our RV and then put the keys back into my purse and never said a word. When I realized (a few hours later) that he had wrecked my van and asked him why, he said he just wanted to prove that he could drive. Then when he was 14, he took his sister's car out with a few friends and lost control on a dirt road and rolled it. One friend stayed the night in the hospital with a concussion, then when he was 17, his baseball coach and some of the off season guys needed to move some equipment from the field to a practice building and it was icy and he tried to stop. hit a tree and imploded the air bags on him and his coach. They weren't hurt just stunned but I think that was his last hoorah with not paying attention to his mom's advice. I guess I should be glad he isn't a pilot.

Well ladies, I get to go see my granddaughter today. 2 hour drive to see her, then I get a few hours to visit and then 2 hours home. It is worth it but the rest of the family has to work today so they don't get to see her. I will check back in later. You all have a blessed day!

Ethan is a very kind soul. When he was little his great grandmother lived next door after her husband had had a stroke and Ethan would go in, give her a hug and never say a word. She always said that it was like he just knew she needed it. The while water thing is funny but now I'm scared cuz all of my guys are fire bugs. haha. July 4th is their favorite holiday! They blow things up at the farm like it's their job! lol

My son did tell me that the phone cards were like $20 for 10 minutes. He may get one and try to talk to his daughter if the mother will let him.

He is an AM. Aviation Structural Mechanic. Hydraulics and stuff like that. It's funny that he is the one on the tail cuz one of his nicknames growing up was 'Squirrel' He was always climbing on something. The cabinets, the bunk beds, the trees, the roof, haha He would almost give me heart failure when he was little. I guess I'm used to it now! lol

I was so excited. I haven't gotten many emails from him since he left. I sure miss talking to him and texting him. I am so very proud of him!

Of course, when all the kids land in P'cola from boot camp...I understand & as a Mom applaud the age discrimination... Pensacola has enough distractions.
