do go on one. it is the experience of a lifetime! I am so happy that I did.

when they actually passed the memorial the sailors saluted! oh boy, that brings tears to my eyes again. to see our sailors paying honor to the fallen.

Happy birthday Stephanie. What a great way to be woken up.
Dolly to post pictures here, click on the "camera" icon. it will give you a box that lets you upload a picture..
once uploaded, it gives gobbly gook until you add comment. the 1st time I did it I thought I did it wrong.

this picture is from the tiger cruise in 10-08, my son got to man the rails. what an honor for this mom to see him do that. I was standing behind him in the shade of a plane.

yes you can vote again if you have already. I need about 50 votes to be in the running. Truthfully, my pcs aren't the cutest project, but they were made for our sailors, so I think the best. haha.

thanks ladies. and who knows, if you join the HAE group, when we deploy again, maybe your child's cube could receive some special pillowcases.

Hey Jackie, thanks for posting about the vote. I was just thinking that I needed to check it. But please search for J and O fabrics. ahah.

And I will put the money into fabric for our deployed sailors and other military branches.
And ladies, if you join the Heads at Ease group, you will see a that my heart's desire is do adopt the children of my members when they are deployed. We've done several. I bascially started this project when my son was deployed in 2008 on the Lincoln.
We can always use help with sewing, fabric and $ for shipping or to buy fabric.

Hey LIncoln moms, if you are on facebook, would you vote for me in a sewing contest on the J and O fabric site? A vote for me is a vote for the military. In the poll section, I am #R - pillowcases by Sue Lamberson. on page 9 of photos you can see the pcs that were entered. They went the Sept sailors in Guam.
thanks!

Definitely vote for Sue!! We don't want to dilute our Heads at Ease votes. I did not make any of the football pillowcases and I was only helping Sue to upload a picture. Turns out we both did.
