Connie, first you have to have the pictures stored on your computer (I have no idea how to post from a phone). Then when you reply, look at the little icons right at the top of the box. There is one shaped like a tiny black camera. Click that and it will ask you to browse your computer to add/upload a picture. Just follow the prompts, it will take you step by step. Does that help?

Hi all--
I can definitely relate, mine goes out after dinner to spend time with his buds, but is here after he wakes up around 11 until he goes out again. I am blessed that he is here, because I know that this could be our last Christmas for a while. I have had a great time making all his favorite foods and just having him make noise in the house.
Thank you all for letting us all vent, brag, cry and learn.

It seems like a mixed bag with sailors sharing time with family and friends. Tyler is spending his days visiting friends and most nights with family. He's been catching up on his sleep some and I'm sure he'll be out with friends at night pretty soon. I think he's visiting with Mom in anticipation of Christmas gifts?????? He seems a lot more mature than when he left.

My nephew got home from nuke school, but we've only talked on the phone while he was in transit... once while I was in Vegas this weekend, of course he called while I was in a really loud bar. I only knew he was calling because I was reaching into my bag for my camera when my phone vibrated in my hand! And we talked while he was stranded in Kansas. As an aunt, I'm on the bottom of the visit chain. I don't even know if my SIL will invite us over for Christmas dinner. She hasn't answered her phone for me; since my brother has gone she seems to forget we exist. Sigh. But I'm glad he's home and I'm hoping he'll find time to wander over.

Good morning all--
My son is home, and its been wonderful to get to cook his favorite dishes and have him make noise in the other parts of the house. My house isn't quiet since he's been home.
Joanie----
Happy Birthday to your son!!!!!!!!!!!! What a terrific job you've done.

19 years ago today, my sailor was born. He went from being a pudgy, happy little baby to the wonderful young man he is today. He has been the greatest blessing in my life. It's great to have him home on leave. I know I might not have him home again on his birthday or Christmas in the future, but God will get us through everything he brings us to. BTW he has decided that it's a gift to Mom to let her clean up after him......I don't thinkg so! Merry Christmas everyone and enjoy your sailors.

Haven't been here in quite awhile. Congratulations to all who are welcoming home their sailors for the holidays! Things don't look good for mine to get home--so close and yet so far! He's 3-4 hours away, but if he only gets one day off, he won't come. As so many years, we've learned to celebrate holidays and birthdays on any day we can. Our best wishes to all of you and yours!

Good morning all;
Like most of you, mine is still sleeping, and he looks wonderful. Its 7:30 on the West Coast, so nothing is started yet, but I want him to sleep until he wakes up. I wqill start the coffee in just a few minutes. I will bake his pumpkin pie today and some cookies. WE don't have any plans for today, its his time home.
