Good morning all--
My son is home, and its been wonderful to get to cook his favorite dishes and have him make noise in the other parts of the house. My house isn't quiet since he's been home.
Joanie----
Happy Birthday to your son!!!!!!!!!!!! What a terrific job you've done.

19 years ago today, my sailor was born. He went from being a pudgy, happy little baby to the wonderful young man he is today. He has been the greatest blessing in my life. It's great to have him home on leave. I know I might not have him home again on his birthday or Christmas in the future, but God will get us through everything he brings us to. BTW he has decided that it's a gift to Mom to let her clean up after him......I don't thinkg so! Merry Christmas everyone and enjoy your sailors.

Haven't been here in quite awhile. Congratulations to all who are welcoming home their sailors for the holidays! Things don't look good for mine to get home--so close and yet so far! He's 3-4 hours away, but if he only gets one day off, he won't come. As so many years, we've learned to celebrate holidays and birthdays on any day we can. Our best wishes to all of you and yours!

Good morning all;
Like most of you, mine is still sleeping, and he looks wonderful. Its 7:30 on the West Coast, so nothing is started yet, but I want him to sleep until he wakes up. I wqill start the coffee in just a few minutes. I will bake his pumpkin pie today and some cookies. WE don't have any plans for today, its his time home.
