Hi everyone...been a busy day here. Went to breakfast with a friend, then he came over and helped me mount my new flat panel TV on the wall of my den. Now, I have the mess to clean up...but I love to clean so that's a piece of cake for me. However, I'll probably watch the rest of the golf tourney and cheer Tiger on to victory.

Lauren, I hope you found something to do today that was fun for you. And, enjoy your time with Nathan tomorrow.

Karol - I'll be putting up the pictures of the parade soon....

Everyone, enjoy the rest of your Sunday!!!! (((HUGS)))

Lauren, I'm sorry it is going to be a bum day ahead. At least you did see him for the 4th and as I understand it, you enjoyed a meal with him on the base. Focus on the good times you have had so far. Duty and studying come with the territory.

Do you have a car? After Victoria's PIR she and her uncle went to a botanical garden. Both said it was very nice. Do try to do something that will distract you. There is no sense in becoming bored and focusing on what you don't have rather than the good things you do have.

Welcome to the group, Alicia. You will find that with this group, you won't feel lost any more. Many in the group are very knowledgeable and Hoppi and Will do a fantastic job of answering questions for us. What is really great is that they separate the fact from what is going through the rumor mill!

Hoppi, Good luck on your papers. I like your approach to the poem. The voice of the younger person would in some respects be tenative and full of bravado whereas the voice of the older person has the tenor of experience. Interesting approach!

Vee, Wow them in the parade! Have fun as well.

We are spending the day relatively quietly. There are two couples who will join us for a BBQ, both were at UF with me. I have most of the work done so we can enjoy visiting.

Happy 4th of July!
