Sharon--
Mine will arrive on 31st, can't wait either. Have a wonderful time with your boy, and may you have a safe trip.
Gen
Katy--
I'm glad the situation with Nick is finally over, I know the outcome is not what you wanted, but now a new beginning is at hand for Nick.
I'm so glad to hear your Ryan is doing well, and so close to home. I know SD is far from the Central Valley, but much closer than Norfolk.
My son is returning from his first deployment shortly and will be home on the 31st. I can't wait, I haven't seen him since Jan 2, of this year. I Know that 2011 will be much better for me.
For all of CVNMs--Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and if you are lucky enough to have your sailorhome, enjoy the time with them.

Wolf Grrl - take a deep breath and talk to your daughter, she probably does not expect you to go all out for her and her friends for Christmas, she probably is more about spending the time with you and your family. Do not worry about spending lots of money on food, fix stuff like spaghetti, cheap good food and they will probably enjoy just having a home cooked meal. Let her know your situation financially, just because you are going snowboarding does not mean that they would want to and if they do they go pay their own way. I think it is great that you are opening your house to the others but they should not expect you to foot the entire bill for them and presents also. They are probably just thankful to have somewhere to be and a place to sleep. They may things that they are planning to do and may not expect you to entertain them. It will work out but talk to her about what she is expecting from you as far as meals, etc. Are you planning on including her in the family photo? I think you should as that opportunity may not happen again for awhile and I would think that would make an awesome gift in itself. Time slips away so fast and you need to treasure the time you will have with her. It will work out, hang in there.
Hi all;
Heard from my sailor last night. He will be home for about 10 days after his ship returns. I am getting sooooooooooooo excited, I haven't seen him since Janaury 3, of this year. I can't wait. I need to stock the fridge with all his favorite junk and food.
Wolf Girl-
I can only say, enjoy your girl, it will all work out.
Sharon-
What day is your son returning? I have the date for mine, just can't say yet, but I am getting excited. Sharon, Blue Stars is this Thursday night, Dec 16 at Northwest Church, hope to see you there.
