Yes, Dawnn lucky you.  We learn to take what little time we get with them and make it special.

For those that are interested I have posted an event in the Nor Cal group.  Its to a Meet and Greet.  This is the second time I am hosting this event.

The event is at my house.  I am asking that those that attend and who can afford it, please bring a new toy to be donated to the Marine Corp Toys for Tots program.  For every toy you bring you will recieve a raffle ticket.  I am raffling off a handmade quilt made by me for the prize.  Last year Noe from the bay area won the quilt.

Hope you all can make it.  We had a great time last year, even the dad's seem to enjoy themselves.

Please RSVP above.  Once you have checked in I will sent you direction to the house.

Hi Devil Doc Mom 661 my son is also a Corpsman right now stationed at a clinic. He wants to get attached to a Marine unit and go Devil Doc. I live in Modesto so bit north of you. Have you been on the Corpsman site they have other mom's with corpsman that are in Afghanistan right now.

Sharon--

He sure is, and I think he really enjoys that.

How about one evening after work the week of 19th, I can probably be about 6.

Sounds good to me, after the 17th would be great, have 15th tax deadline, so o/t till then.

Bobby's ship left Norfolk ahead of Irene on Thursday.  Haven't heard anything from him since Wednesday.

1stlove....I would book on SW they are good about changes and often don't charge you for changes whenit involves the military.  They also don't charge you for bages like alot of the other airlines do.  The other airlines wait til you get to the ticket counter and then tell you there is a charge for your bags, it gets pricey.  Good luck.

Thank you Sharon. She is getting settled into her house and her Mother-in-law gave them furniture so now it is coming together.

Katy congratulations to your son, it is a relief to get A School over with.
