DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Hi Angela, he's at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (Virginia). Yes, he had a short hold before they 'classed up' for A school, but only a few weeks if that. I'll check w/him about the laptop. I've seen the corpsman workbooks and passed UCLA's School of Medicine EMT course myself last year. Could you give me the link to the Navy's course study guide? & has Tony any EMT or medical schooling/background?

Any plans for a get together in January?
Comment by dooby1424 on October 19, 2009 at 9:10am
Hi Everyone - please sned me any information about PIR. I am going to compile a "booklet" of information that we can give to any new mom's. Send: hotels, transportation information, what happens at PIR, what your sailor might like to do, etc. - please send comments with this information. I would like this "booklet" to contain not only PIR information, but general "Your Son/Daughter is in the Navy" information....schools, care packages, when your sailor returns from deployment, etc. Anything and everything! Also - as you get get more information, send it to me. I want to keep this "booklet" as up-to-date as possible.

Thanks......Go Navy!

Hey Audreysnena....we are in ahwatukee (lived in Tempe for 18 years)....tell me about these tests (my kids are officers). I look at the conversations, but don't always understand what enlisted moms are going through. What is a "meeting Kit"? Did I miss something?
