Ok, just read your post.  Oh my gosh!  What a horrible thing to have made that kind of mistake at PAO! I can imagine that you would have watched all of PIR and wondered where he was if they didn't call you when they did....but right before leaving for PIR?....oh my!  So glad that you got to see him to lift his spirits and that he was so much better on Sat....

I could tell Jon had someone with him when he called..he was being very careful in answering my questions..

keger:  I was so surprised to see you on here?  Trying to figure out what happened by going back through your posts as I thought he had passed before PIR?

They should really make parents aware of this before they get there. That can be heart breaking and costly especially if they dont know that they can still see their Sr.

I bet they were so broken hearted to find out they could have seen her..

Yes we got there, only to get told that he WAS going to graduate, and then got a call from the PAO the morning of PIR right before we left the hotel to say he WASN'T graduating...ugh! it's been a nightmare.. but we did get to see him for a couple of hours..and he and the other guys were so down hearted(all same div), their parents were there also. it was devastating to see them all so upset. But when Jon called on Sat he sounded so much better, his spirits were high..They did get yelled at for all of us being up there., but Jon said it was worth it, he said it meant more to him then we will ever know, for us to be there..

Jon hasn't sent a letter this week, so I have no idea where to send it.

Do we send letters to their original ship address or is their a new one?
Comment by keger2001 on July 21, 2011 at 3:51pm
Well you know the first person i talked to there was very kind and told me to call back the next day to check, and you know me I did! But the person who I got the next day was less pleasant but once I gave the sermon on what was going on she found out for me, and the answer at that time was the results weren't in yet and they probably wouldn't be until that afternoon, which was Thursday so we went ahead and left and went up there, it was too long of a drive not to go ahead and get moving. So I called back that afternoon while we were traveling and kept getting the voice mail...
