JC19:  He should be able to go through BattleStations tonight, I would think!  Good luck to your almost-sailor!

JC19 and wndermom:  I know today was to be the graduation date for your SRs.  It would be wonderful if they DID pass yesterday and are at PIR today.  But I'm judging by the fact that you received your phone calls on Wed that they would not graduate, that they took the PFA that same day.  In that case, I do not think they could have tested again yesterday (Thurs) since it would not have been 48 hrs since the last try.

If your SRs are not graduating today, keep the faith!  They will get there....they have lots of tries, as Claudia posted below, and are encouraged strongly by their RDCs.....although they won't have a PIR, they will become sailors regardless when they pass!  Not sure if either of you lives close to GL, but they normally get some Liberty once they pass BattleStations and would be allowed to see you.  Unfortunately, you will not get a heads up about this until the I'm a Sailor call.....so unless you live fairly close by, you may not be able to get to them before they head to A School.  BUT you can plan a future visit to A School to visit your sailors!

Prayers for all of those SRs trying to get through their PFAs!

They have 10 opportunities to re do the test and every time they try they have to do everything the
Running push-up's and the sit-ups
Keep sending letters to support them they will need that a lot

Hello wndermom & JC19
I been in your situation I got the same call in January 4 days before her graduation because she did not passed her running exam she went over 50 seconds from the time she suppose to do
I postponed all my plans until she calls again and to let me know what will happen next because she had one more chance before her graduation day but unfortunately she did not passed and got move to (FIT) it's a place were they will get the help and training that they need to pass their exam

My son said once they pass what they missed they do take the full PFA.

Comment by wndermom on February 26, 2015 at 10:46am
From what I understand, they just have to pass whatever part they missed.
Comment by JC19 on February 26, 2015 at 10:44am

So probably a dumb question do they have to retake the whole PFA or just what they failed?
